Governance Training Programme 2017-18

Governance Training Programme 2017-18

Please find all governance training courses for the 2017-18 academic year listed below. Governors and trustees may seek further information and book on each course individually by selecting the 'Further Information' link alongside the corresponding date and time. This year we are pleased to introduce five new courses which reflect the changes in governance and education as a whole. Several other courses have new presenters and have been completely rewritten.

A paper version of the programme is available to view within your school or academy; however, an electronic copy may be downloaded towards the bottom of this page. Courses are reviewed regularly to ensure that they reflect both national initiatives and changes in legislation and are scheduled at various times throughout the day and early evening to accommodate governors and trustees with work or family commitments.

Information on Partnership Forums, Chairs' Briefings and the annual Governor Conference can be found under the 'News, Events and Updates' section of the site.

The E-learning package, which is brokered by Governance Services, is now operated by the Virtual College in partnership with the National Governors Association. To log on to the site go to:
